Living with an immigrant wife

Downsides of working overseas is falling in love with a local woman. Mine happens to be from Nigeria. She has been here for 2 years now. Adjusting to life in the USA has not been easy. She has been back to Nigeria about every 6 months now. She usually stays at least a month, sometimes longer.

I'd go back with her but don't really want to be kidnapped and taken into the bush like 6 of my friends were in 2006.

Nigeria is a culture shock for any westerner. And it must be something like that for her.
